Spaceman
The Spaceman screen explained
The Spaceman screen shows a status message for the phase of the round, a multiplier that starts at 1.00x, a bet field with cashout buttons, a strip of recent results and a set of information panels. The status message shows whether a bet can still be placed or changed.
Key takeaways
- Betting is open while NEXT GAME IN ..s or WAIT FOR NEXT GAME is displayed; BETS CLOSED ends it, and BET ACCEPTED or BET REJECTED then shows whether the bet is in the round.
- On mobile, the Cashier button (where one is present) and the animation setting are in the menu, and the auto cashout control changes to a scaled-down view once the bet is accepted.
The Spaceman screen explained, area by area
Where the Game Help states a position on the screen, the table gives it. Otherwise each area is described by what it shows.
| Area | What it shows | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Bet Limits indicator | The minimum and maximum stake, next to the game name. | Limits depend on the operator and the currency. A bet outside them may be rejected. |
| Status message | The phase of the round and the status of the bet. | Explained message by message in the next section. |
| Multiplier | The current value, starting at 1.00x in every round. | It grows slowly at first, then increasingly faster, until the round ends. |
| Bet field | The amount of the bet for the round. | After a CASHOUT 50% it updates to the new value. |
| CASHOUT and CASHOUT 50% | Buttons that request a payout on all of the bet still in the round, or on half of the bet. | A click is a request, settled when the game server processes it. |
| AUTO CASHOUT and 50% AUTO CASHOUT | Switches with a multiplier value from 1.01x to 4999.99x. | Set during betting time only; locked once the round starts. |
| Recent results | The end values of the most recent rounds, at the bottom of the screen. | A record of finished rounds, not a forecast. |
| Balance | The available funds, at the bottom of the game window. | Shown there on both desktop and mobile. |
Four panels give context instead of control: the Leaderboard, Statistics, History and Chat. What each panel contains, and the display options, are listed under Spaceman features.
Reading the status messages
The labels are the ones the Game Help uses.
| Message | What it signals | What is possible |
|---|---|---|
| NEXT GAME IN ..s | Betting is open. The number counts down by one each second. | A bet can be placed or changed, and the auto cashout options switched on. |
| WAIT FOR NEXT GAME | A bet for the upcoming round can be prepared. | A bet can be placed or changed until betting closes. |
| BETS CLOSED | Betting time has ended and the bet is being processed. | No further changes to the bet or to the auto cashout settings. |
| BET ACCEPTED | The bet is in the round. | CASHOUT and CASHOUT 50% can be used once the multiplier is rising. |
| BET REJECTED | The bet is not in the round. A bet outside the bet limits is one documented reason. | Nothing for this round; betting reopens for the next one. |
| GAME CANCELLED | The round was canceled because of a technical malfunction. | Nothing; the round is settled under the malfunction rule. |
The provider does not publish the length of the countdown. The rules behind BET REJECTED and GAME CANCELLED are on the Spaceman rules page, and the order of the messages over one round is set out in how a Spaceman round works.
Desktop and mobile differences
The Game Help is one document covering desktop and mobile. The differences it records are about where controls sit on mobile:
- Cashier button. Where one is present, it is inside the game menu.
- Animation setting. It is in the menu.
- Auto cashout. The control changes to a scaled-down view once the bet is accepted.
What to look up in the Game Help first
The Game Help is the rules text that comes with the game, and the copy inside the game, at the operator where it is offered, is the authority for that version. Three items are worth reading there first: the RTP (return to player), because published sources differ (Spaceman’s RTP figures compares them), and the maximum payout and the disconnection policy, both summarized on the rules page.
Common first-time confusions
- “It is called a slot, but there are no reels.” “Spaceman slot” is a common search term, not a description. Spaceman is a crash game; see Is Spaceman a slot?
- “The cashout was paid at a different multiplier from the one showing at the click.” A manual click is a request, not an instant payment; see how a manual cashout is settled.
- “The auto cashout setting will not change.” Auto settings are locked once the round starts, although the manual CASHOUT and CASHOUT 50% buttons still work at a lower multiplier; see auto cashout.
- “The game is silent.” Audio is muted by default.
